WHO WE ARE

We're not your ordinary student organization or ministry at WMU. 

There are no "members".  No IN people and OUT people.

Instead, [cru.] is a community of students who want to experience God more.  It's that simple.

In fact, on thousands of college campuses across the state*, the US and the world, there are students involved with Campus Crusade for Christ.  People who are exploring a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  People who are becoming spiritually aware.  People who are seeking out ways to grow in faith and inviting others to experience God with them.

We are not a church.  We are not a denomination.  Rather we all have different church backgrounds (and yes, a number of us have no church background at all) but we come together because we want to love God and love people more. 

College is more than just going to class!

Most of us are firmly convinced that it's worth taking some time out of our week to develop ourselves spiritually (which is a good break from the academics and homework) and connect with others who are also living purposefully beyond ourselves!

And what we usually find is a place to belong and a place to believe.

So, whether you're investigating God for the first time or you're just looking for a place to deepen that relationship with God, you're welcome to check out the hype for yourself.  Maybe you too will discover that joy that we're all ranting and raving about...
